Jane Wilmot

Jane is a deaf resident who has lived in Hammersmith and Fulham for nearly 40 years. Jane is passionate about two things: using clear, concise English in everyday language so everyone understands, and co-production where patients, carers and community groups work together with health professionals as equals to improve healthcare and reduce health inequality.

Decision making processes

The Healthwatch Hammersmith & Fulham Advisory Committee and staff make collaborative decisions about our work programme and priority areas. These include decisions such as which research studies and Enter & View visits to undertake over the course of a year. Our decision making takes into account a number of factors including: opportunities to impact; issues identified from community feedback and intelligence; wider strategic drivers; alignment with key priorities of our local authority and NHS partners; and gaps in our current insight and knowledge on an issue/service.

Our Advisory Committee seek to provide full transparency in their decision making. Minutes of meetings can be requested by emailing info@healthwatchhf.co.uk. Each year we will also update this page to highlight our key projects for the year and our reasons for choosing these priority areas. Please click on the pink 'Find out more' button below to access information about our current projects.

Your Voice in Health and Social Care (YVHSC), the contract holder, and their Board of Directors, hold overall governance responsibility for Healthwatch Hammersmith & Fulham. For further information on the Board visit the YVHSC website or email info@yvhsc.org.uk.
