NHS Digital to collect patient data and medical records in England

From 1st September 2021, NHS Digital will begin collecting patient data and medical records from GP Practices in England.

Councillor Stephen Cowan, the leader for the Hammersmith and Fulham Council, has also written a message to local residents regarding the data sharing plans in the Council’s weekly e-newsletter which you can read on their website.

Originally planned to begin on 1st July, the start of the data collection has now been deferred until 1st September.
