Government says taking paracetamol during pregnancy remains safe

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) confirms taking paracetamol during pregnancy remains safe and there is no evidence it causes autism in children.
In response to comments made by the President of the United States of America linking autism and Tylenol (paracetamol), the MRHA confirmed the safety of taking paracetamol during pregnancy and that paracetamol should be taken as directed in the patient information leaflet.
This annual report is based on the experience of 1.324 people.
Overall satisfaction is 72% positive. For Charing Cross Hospital it's 67% positive, Hammersmith Hospital is 77% positive and for Queen Charlotte Hospital, satisfaction is 72%.
